Privacy Policy
Effective Date: July 14, 2025
TraceLessNet (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to maintaining transparency in how we collect and use data through our website and tools. This Privacy Policy explains what information we may process, how we use it, and what rights you have in relation to it.
1. Information We Do Not Collect
We do not collect or store:
- Your name, email address, or contact information
- Your browsing history
- Any personally identifiable information (PII)
Our diagnostic tools (e.g., IP, browser, screen resolution) operate in real-time and do not retain any data post-session.
2. Hosting and Technical Infrastructure
Our site is hosted via Netlify, which may process basic technical information such as your IP address and browser type temporarily for security and performance. This data is not accessible to us and is managed entirely by Netlify.
3. Diagnostic Tool Functionality
We use JavaScript and APIs from services like ipapi.co
and ipwho.is
to detect:
- Your public IP address
- Estimated location (city, region, country)
- Browser version, screen resolution, and user agent
- IPv6 address if available
- Precise location (if you opt-in via browser)
This information is processed client-side and not stored or shared by us.
4. Cookies and Advertising
We use Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google may:
- Place cookies or use local storage
- Serve personalized ads based on your activity across the web
- Track interactions to prevent fraud and measure performance
Depending on your region, you may see a cookie consent banner to comply with GDPR, CCPA, or similar laws.

5. Use of Browser Geolocation
Some tools (like Location Checker) may ask for permission to access your precise location using your device's GPS. This is:
- Optional and handled by your browser
- Used only to display your location on the page
- Not saved, stored, or shared
6. Your Rights
If you live in a region with data privacy laws (such as the EU or California), you may have the right to:
- Access, correct, or delete personal information
- Withdraw consent
- Opt-out of targeted advertising
Since we do not store personal data, most requests can be handled via browser settings or Google Ad Preferences.
7. Affiliate Links
We sometimes use affiliate links to VPN services. Clicking these may result in a cookie placed by the affiliate provider. We recommend reviewing their individual privacy policies.
8. Contact
